Trip to Medan 22-27 feb 2010

What a nice trip, meeting new nice people! Just wanna share about a pedicab motor rider who happened to be my nice helpful tour guide along with his family. It all started when i was standing by the ATM nearby the hotel n wondering around. He saw me from his pedicab n offered a ride. since i had no idea, n it sounded so nice i could take traditional transportation there *saving my money too*
He is the father of 5 children . one of them married n the youngest one is still in elementary school ( he cares about education so all of the children go to school, though until high school graduate ) the first daughter who accompanied me most of the days in Medan is a tough girl, since she finished her school n she must help her mother finding the woods for cooking everyday.

His house is a simple one, made of bricks with cement floor, its hot since the roof is not comfy enough but it is his own house! what an achievement for a pedicab man :) i don't even have it though i have worked for long time :)
for short, i do feel grateful for having nice people in every new place i visit. God is always with you, when you have good heart, when you are kind to people then you will get in return from others in HIS miracle way :)

small reunion with elementary mates!

Its a fun saturday noon though its raining outside, it didnt stop me to meet my elementary mates either , let's say its been 20 years n i could finally meet in person.. who wanna miss that chance??
i wont miss the chance to meet old friends whom i lost contact for years!

we had an early dinner or very late lunch at Red Beans.. just chit chat, u know girls when they meet :D many things in the past n present that we wanna share n of them is about soulmate, since two of us are still single :) so the topic is mostly about relationship! n since i am the one who is in relationship n about to marry, well i am the topic of the conversation! nice!!

to make our moment is more memorable, of course we should take pics.. :D narcist! pocket camera was not enough, since we should take pic together n we couldnt ask for the waiter to take it :) so we were looking for photo booth :) OMG ! but thank god we found a click studio instant nearby !! Gosh, we were not born to be model i guess, so taking 8 styles of poses took out all of our energy since we couldnt stop laughing at ourself when the camera man took our pics with his guidance :) we were quite happy with the result though.. so here we are

Morning has come with a sweet sun shine n white clouds in the sky! quite a perfect moment to have sun bathing on the balcony :D hope it lasts longer! so that i can hunt for some objects to be shot :)

Hello again! New Year has begun, hope all of u are still having the new spirit.
For me, as a part timer teacher should struggle much sometimes to get the spirit stays longer :D sorry students.. teachers are human too :) what an excuse! hihihihi
well, this term thank god i have good students ( so far ) they are cooperative enough to be in my class with the rules i have given. still two more months i have to be in classes, couldn't wait for the next big event though! the step that might bring the real new life for me. To be with someone finally hohohoho.
The things i couldn't resist now is online shopping! well thank god i am not the shopaholic, but i do buy things i need.. is not an excuse rite?? :D well women, we do love shopping! so guys, watch out for that! :P and thank u hon for supporting that hihihihi but dont worry, i am a wise spender :) hihihi
but i love traveling n indeed it costs much too.. not to mention for food, look at this yummy yoghurt! its one of my fav since i dont like pure milk so i need to consume calcium for my bone!

as i mention traveling, hmm wish for overseas one day :D wish me luck!

Happy Eid Mubarak 1430 H

Hope Eid Mubarak this year brings happiness to all, though i might not visit my relatives in central java, though i might not be with someone special.. Eid Mubarak should be a special day that i should welcome, it's the victory after fasting for a month, though i dont' know whether i did well in my fasting for HIM or not.. but i do pray lots for the new life i am facing soon, praying that the life i choose can bring joy in my future..the life that i know it will be hard but i have faith that this is the gift that i should take..
